2009 Annual Benefit Statements
When will I receive this year's benefit statement?
If you are employed by Lancashire County Council your statement will have been sent out from mid to late October 2009.
If you are employed by an employer other than Lancashire County Council then your statement will have been sent out from early to mid November 2009.
I am employed as a variable or fee paid scheme member.
If you have a contract of employment but no fixed hours or a fee paid contract then your statement will have been sent out to you in December 2009.
About your statement:
- Statements are issued to those who were members of the Local Government Pension Scheme as at 30 September 2009.
- Statements are sent either to your last known address or via your employer for internal distribution.
- All statements will include benefit statement guidance notes. This will hopefully help to answer any questions you may have.

I joined the scheme after 30 September 2009, when will I receive my statement?
If you joined the scheme after 30 September 2009 then you will not receive a statement this year. You will receive your first statement at a similar time of the year, in 2010.
